Revolut is a well-known banking tool. But is it good enough for EUR to NGN transfers? Scroll down to learn more about the service’s fees, its euro to Nigerian naira exchange rate, transfer options and some Revolut alternatives.

Revolut exchange rates

As of March 11th, 2026, Revolut’s current euro to naira rate is 1 EUR = 1,596.77 NGN. You may check the values on the currency conversion page, but you can’t send nairas back home. Why? Because Revolut doesn't support international NGN transfers. However, the terms may change, so always check the official website.

The service offers USD as an alternative currency, but not every recipient will be happy to receive dollars instead of naira. If you’re interested, Revolut’s EUR-USD conversion rate is 1 EUR = 1.15826 USD today (March 11th, 2026).

Revolut fees

Fees vary by country, currency, transfer method, and account plan (Standard, Plus, Premium, Metal, or Ultra). Here are some benchmarks:

  • Transfer fee: The minimum fee for EUR-USD transfers is 1.30 EUR, the maximum is 300 EUR, according to the Revolut International Transfer Fees document.
  • Variable fee: 0.15%.
  • An intermediary bank’s  fees: unknown.
  • Extra fee: 1% fee on exchanges above your plan's monthly limits.

Transfers between Revolut customers are free, but Nigerian residents cannot open an account. Expensive international transfers are the only option left.
