The Profee Wallet is a safe deposit to save your assets in EUR before sending them. It is available in the Profee mobile apps for Android and iOS.

Who can use the Profee wallet

If you want to use the Wallet, you need to provide proof of your address in Europe (for example, a utility bill or a bank statement, issued within the last six months). We accept various documents, but it’s important that your proof of address has your full name and your European address on it.

How to find the Profee wallet

If you have already sent us a proof of address, you can easily access the Profee Wallet in the app. Tap the ‘wallet’ sign in the bottom – and admire the fancy interface!

How to top up your wallet

You may use your bank card or account to top up your wallet. The process is a bit different, but is quite simple either way.

Note that in early 2026, you can only deposit EUR on your Profee wallet account. therefore, do not choose bank card or account in other currencies – we do not want you to lose money on exchange rates! Topping up your wallet from your bank account

If you have an account in a European bank, use it to top up your wallet. Here’s a step-by-step instruction:

1. Go to your Wallet and tap ‘top up’.
2. Choose ‘bank account’.
3. Copy the details into your bank’s app.
4. Complete the payment.

If you prefer to add money to your Profee wallet from your bank card, the process is also pretty straightforward:

1. Go to your wallet and tap ‘top up’.

How to send money smartly

If you want to get the most from your transfers – and to pay less for them – the Profee Wallet is your go-to solution. You may have noticed that the fees for topping up your Wallet depend on the method you choose, and that sticking to bank account helps you to save more (the pricing differs due to various bank terms). Additionally, we do not charge any fees for sending money from the Profee Wallet.

Here is your perfect scenario for sending money at the lowest cost:

1. Top up your Wallet from your bank account
2. Wait for the most favourable exchange rate from EUR to your home country currency
3. Send money cross-border with the best terms we have to offer!

By the way, do not forget to switch on the notifications in your Profee app: we constantly monitor exchange rates in real time and will let you know if the rate to your home country currency is indeed favourable.

How much can you send via the Profee wallet

If you want to check your limit, go to the ‘My transfers’ section in the Profee app. The total limit is the same for all your transfers, whether you send money from your wallet or not.

Here’s a simple example. Imagine that your total limit is 30,000 EUR per year. On January 10th 2026, you send 1,000 EUR using your bank card issued in the EU. After that, you may send 29,000 EUR by the end of the year before providing any additional details. On January 20th, you send another 1,000 EUR using your wallet. There’s still 28,000 EUR to go by the end of 2026 – you may transfer from your wallet, bank card, etc.

How to get the Profee digital card

If you already have a Profee wallet, you may get your virtual EUR card. You may get it in a few taps – choose the ‘Cards’ section in the app and follow the instructions.
