At Profee, we offer our customers a variety of payment methods depending on their needs. We have incorporated Sofort into our transfer service, and we hope that this will make the Profee experience even more enjoyable for our customers.

If you are unfamiliar with Sofort, you need to know that it is an alternative payment method through which you may use online banking for various financial ops. Sofort was created in Germany in 2005 and has since spread to several neighbouring countries within the EU: Austria, Belgium, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, and Spain. It passed the milestone of 1 billion transactions overall, and has more than 850 000 users. The Munich-based company now shares its plans for further expansion and claims Sofort is one of the top-three payment methods used in the Eurozone.

When you choose Sofort for your Profee transfer, you are automatically forwarded to Sofort's website and, after that – to your bank's website to confirm the transaction. This ensures your transfer's security, as it is processed directly by the bank, and your data is protected from unauthorised access.

With Profee, Sofort transfers stay safe and beneficial: we charge a fee of 1 EUR per transfer regardless of your chosen payment method. While in some cases, Sofort payments may take some time and unavoidable delays are possible due to the system’s operation verification procedure, we guarantee that Profee’s processing happens almost instantly.

Sergey Romanov, CPO at Profee: "We have a deep understanding of our customers’ needs. We know that they find specific transfer methods especially reliable and convenient - for example, many Profee clients in the Netherlands use their IBAN to make Profee transfers via Open Banking. We take every opportunity to offer our customers the transfer methods they are used to and are glad to announce we are introducing Sofort as one of our transfer options".
