How to use Profee's referral programme

With Profee, you can send money and earn with the referral programme. Invite a friend, and we will credit you a reward.

The terms are elementary — all you need is a friend who follows the referral link or enters the code to register and sends a total of 400 EUR (or equivalent in a different currency) within 30 days to one or several of the selected destinations.

But where can you get the referral code and link? When to transfer the money? How can you receive a Profee referral reward? Now, we will answer these and many other questions.

Step 1: Register or log in to your Profee account

Before you start inviting friends through the referral programme:

• Make sure you have a Profee account.
• If you don't, sign up by providing the required information.
• You may follow the link your friend sent you and register or enter the code (right after your phone number).
• If you already have an account, log in to it
• Confirm your ID (this way, we keep our referral programme safe from fraud).

Mariami studies in Paris. She often takes part in offline events for expats in France. She met Olatunji, a student from Nigeria, during a French speaking club meeting. He told her that he needs to send money to his mother in Nairobi, so Mariami invited him to Profee. Olatunji sent 500 EUR to his mother, and soon Mariami got a 20 EUR reward.

Step 2: Get your referral code or link

After logging in, go to the "Earn 20 EUR" section. You will find your personal code and link to share with a friend in this section. There are two ways to share the link or code:

• Highlight, copy and send.
• Click on the button, and the code or link will be copied.

Aina is from Nigeria, she lives and studies in the Netherlands. She has a lot of friends who haven't sent money with Profee yet, so she copied and sent her referral code to the joint chat with her friends. Some of them decided to give Profee a try, so they entered Aina's code; soon enough, the rewards were on the way!

Step 3: Share the code or link with your friend

Copy the referral link or code and invite your friend to earn money via messengers, email or whatever is convenient for them.

Diego’s brother Marco moved to Italy from the Philippines, and Diego invited him to Profee so he could send international transfers. Diego prefers to use the Profee app, so he went to the "Earn 20 EUR" section, copied the link with one click and sent it to his brother on WhatsApp.

Marco learned that his Italian flatmate Roberto also needed to transfer money to the Philippines. The laptop was on, so Max went to the Profee website, logged into his personal account, went to the "Earn 20 EUR" section and copied the link. And afterwards, he emailed it to his new mate.

Step 4: The friend signs up and makes the transfer

Once your friend enters your code or clicks on the referral link and registers with Profee, they need to send a total of 400 EUR (or equivalent in a different currency) to any of the countries from the list: Nigeria, Ghana, India, Kenya, Brazil, Sri Lanka, Nepal, the Philippines, Pakistan, Georgia, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan. Your friend can either make one transfer of 400 EUR or more, or several transfers making a total of at least 400 EUR. If your friend makes several transfers, they can send money to different destinations, as long as all of them are in the list above. Make sure your friend follows our rules: we only accept transfers

• from one currency to another.
• to people other than your friend or you.

Raj came to Austria to study and couldn't figure out how to send money to his family in India for a long time. His mate at the university shared Profee's referral link with him. Raj immediately signed up but didn't send the transfer. After a little over a month, he decided to transfer 550 EUR to his parents in India. The transfer came quickly and with a reasonable exchange rate from Krones to rupees. Still, Raj's friend didn't get the reward — the transfer had to be made within 30 days after registration, and he forgot about it. Later on, Raj got rewards for inviting his friends to Profee — he made sure they sent money right after signing up.

Carlos got a Profee referral code from one of fellow Brazilian expats in Caiscais. He created a Profee account and sent 250 EUR to his Mum. A couple of weeks later, he sent 200 EUR to his sister as a birthday gift. The total amount of his transfers in 30 days made 450 EUR, so his friend who shared the code got a reward soon.

Raj shared his referral link with Sumit, an Indian doctor he met in Berlin. Sumit created a Profee account and made two transfers in 30 days: 340 EUR to his family in Kerala and 60 EUR to a friend in Colombo. Since both India and Sri Lanka are in the list of destinations in the referral programme terms and the total of Sumit’s transfers exceeded 400 EUR, Raj got a reward from Profee.

Step 5: Get your rewards

After your friend sends a total of EUR 400 to India, Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, Nepal, Sri Lanka, the Philippines, Pakistan, Brazil, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, or Georgia you will receive 20 EUR. Please write to support if you have any issues (both your and your friend's accounts need to be active) or the money doesn’t arrive within 30 days. Make sure you've confirmed your ID (or do so in 60 days after your friend registers at Profee).

If all the terms are met, we will credit a reward to your Profee wallet automatically. If you do not have a Profee wallet, you will need to add a card in your profile in the Profee app.

Gustav shared the code with Chandra. She registered and sent 180 EUR. Still, Gustav told Chandra that to get the reward, you must send a total 400 EUR. It was not a problem. Chandra sent 222 more EUR. The money arrived quickly, and Gustav got 20 EUR.
