How to use Profee's referral programme

Invite a friend to Profee and get a EUR 20 reward when you both meet the referral programme conditions. The number of rewards is unlimited, so you can invite as many friends as you wish. Your friend needs to sign up using your personal referral link or code and send a total of at least EUR 400 within 30 days to eligible destinations. More details – in this guide.

Profee referral programme in a nutshell

To receive the reward you need an active Profee profile. Once it’s created:

1. You need to share your personal referral link or code.
2. Your friend needs to create a new Profee profile using your link or code.
3. Your friend needs to send at least EUR 400 in total within 30 days.
4. You need to prove your identity beforehand or within 60 days after your friend creates theirs.
5. Once all the conditions are met, we will credit your EUR 20 reward.

Only successful transfers from one currency to another count. Your friend must send the money to someone other than you.

Currently, 15 destinations participate in the programme. Your friend can send money to:

Inviting and earning guide

Step 1: Register or log in to your Profee profile

You need an active Profee profile to take part in the referral programme.

If you don’t have a profile yet:

1. Download the Profee app or go to our website.
2. Register using your phone number.
3. Enter the required information, including your nationality, current residential address in Europe or the UK, full name, date of birth and an email address you can access.
4. Complete your registration.

You also need to prove your identity before you can receive the reward.

How to prove your identity

If your profile is not verified:

1. Go to your profile.
2. Select Verify account.
3. Upload a clear photo of your passport or identity document.
4. Make sure your full name, date of birth and document number are clearly visible.
5. Take a selfie with the document if the app asks you to do so. Your face and the document should both be fully visible.
6. Complete the liveness check by following the instructions on the screen.

During the liveness check, use the front camera and move or turn your head as instructed. In some rare cases, we may ask for additional documents – then, we’ll clearly state what’s needed.

You must complete verification within 60 days after your friend creates a Profee profile using your link or code. Otherwise, you will not receive the reward.

Step 2: Get your referral link or code

Log in to Profee and open the Earn EUR 20 section, there you will find your personal referral link and referral code. You can share them in two ways:

• Highlight, copy and send.
• Click on the button, and the code or link will be copied.

Your friend needs to open your referral link or enter your code when creating their Profee profile. This allows us to connect their profile to your invitation. An existing Profee customer doesn’t qualify as a new invitee.

Step 3: Share the link with your friend

You can share your personal link or code with:

• friends;
• family members;
• colleagues;
• fellow expats;
• people in relevant group chats;
• members of expat, student or community groups, and so on.

Share the link only with real people who may genuinely want to use Profee. Inviting fictitious people or providing false or misleading information can make you ineligible for the reward.

You can share it through messages, emails, and any other ways convenient for your invitees. Along with the link, you can leave your honest review about Profee, so invitees know why you loved it and what to expect.

Step 4: Your friend signs up and sends money

Your friend must open your referral link or enter your referral code during the profile set-up. To use the code, they need to tap “Have a referral code?” on the phone number screen, enter the code and continue creating their Profee profile.

After creating a new Profee profile, invitees must send at least EUR 400 in total within 30 days to one or more eligible destinations. The EUR 400 can also be the equivalent amount in the national currency of the country where your friend lives. Your friend can make:

• one transfer of EUR 400 or more; or
• several smaller transfers adding up to at least EUR 400.

For example, your friend can make four transfers of EUR 100 each.

They can also send money to different eligible destinations. All qualifying transfers made within the 30-day period will be added together. The 30-day period starts when your friend creates their Profee profile using your referral link or code.

Failed or incomplete transfers don’t count. For example, if there is not enough money on your friend’s card and the transfer is not completed, it won’t be included in the total. In the rare case that the money doesn’t reach the recipient, your friend should contact Profee support directly.

Step 5: Get your EUR 20 reward

Once your friend sends at least EUR 400 in qualifying transfers and all the programme conditions are met, you become eligible for the EUR 20 reward. The reward is credited automatically:

• to the Profee wallet linked to your profile;
• to the bank card linked to your Profee profile if the wallet isn’t available

Make sure that your linked bank card is active and accessible.

Step 6: Invite more friends

There is no limit to the number of friends you can invite or the number of rewards you can receive. For example:

• one qualifying friend brings you EUR 20;
• three qualifying friends bring you EUR 60;
• five qualifying friends bring you EUR 100.

Each friend must meet all the programme conditions separately.

Invite people who need to send money internationally and help them discover Profee. For every new friend who qualifies, you can receive another EUR 20.

Making sure you receive the reward

Know which transfers count

For a transfer to count towards the required EUR 400, it must be completed successfully and:

• be from one currency to another;
• be sent to an eligible country;
• the recipient must not be you;
• your friend’s first name and surname must not match yours.

Both your friend’s profile and your profile must be active.

Contact customer support if you have questions

You can contact Profee customer care team on the app or via help@profee.com during from 9:00 till 19:00 (UTC+03:00) seven days a week, Monday to Friday. Explain your request properly and clearly state what should be solved, for example:

• your wallet or linked card is inaccessible;
• your profile is blocked;
• your friend’s profile is blocked;
• all conditions have been met but the reward has not arrived within 30 days after your friend sends the qualifying amount.
