Due to sanctions on many Russian banks, sending money from Europe to Russia can be tricky. But there’s an easy and fast solution — get a Wildberries Bank card yourself, help your loved ones in Russia get one too, and transfer money to it without delays.
Wildberries Bank сard
Wildberries Bank (WB Bank) is a financial service licensed by the Russian Central Bank and created by the popular marketplace Wildberries. It offers financial products integrated with the Wildberries platform. Sending money to Russia via Profee to a WB Bank card is simple and convenient.
The best part? You don’t need to visit a bank branch or set up a power of attorney. Your relatives or friends in Russia can get the card just like ordering a package from Wildberries. Here’s how it works:
Step 1: Upgrade your WB Wallet
- Download the Wildberries app from Google Play, App Store or RuStore.
- Open the app, go to the Bank section, and tap the banner “Order WB Bank Card.” If it doesn’t appear, update the app.
- Verify your details through Gosuslugi or your mobile operator.
- Enter the code sent via SMS or the Wildberries app.
- Upload photos of the 2nd and 3rd pages of your passport.
- Take a selfie.
- Confirm all your information.
Step 2: Order your card
Once your wallet level is upgraded, a WB Bank account will automatically be created for you.
- Go to WB Wallet and tap “Order WB Bank Card.”
- Choose a convenient pickup point and place your order.
No need to be in Russia personally — just share the QR code with a family member or friend so they can pick up the card.
Step 3: Activate your card
After receiving the card, open WB Wallet again and activate it by entering the card number and creating a PIN.
Once the card is ready, you can send money to it from Europe via Profee. Here’s how to do it.
