To transfer money abroad, create your Profee profile and add the details, following five steps:

1. Join Profee. Enter your full name, phone number, email address, nationality, current residential address, and date of birth.
2. Enter the transfer amount. It’ll be converted at the current exchange rate.
3. Choose your payment method. Available options may include Visa or Mastercard cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Profee wallet, and others.
4. Add the recipient’s details. Details depend on the delivery method.
5. Review and confirm. Check the amount, transfer fees, recipient info, and payment method before sending.

The minimum transfer amount is 10 EUR (or equivalent), and the maximum is 15,000 EUR (or equivalent). Limits may vary depending on your profile level, bank, and destination. If your transfer exceeds the limit, you’ll be notified before confirmation.

Transfer fees start from 0% and depend on your payment method, delivery method, and destination. All charges are shown upfront before confirmation.

Look out for promo codes in our emails and notifications – we occasionally share offers that remove fees on international money transfers.

First transfer is fee-free for some destinations.

You can send money to anyone who has an available receiving method in their country. Select the destination country, and we’ll show you the supported options, such as bank cards, bank accounts, or digital wallets.

You need the recipient’s full name, bank account/card number or similar data for specific transfer methods:

• Card transfers: recipient’s full name and card number.
• Bank account transfers: recipient’s full name, account number, and bank name.
• Mobile money transfers: the exact details vary between wallet options, but you always need the full name and phone number.

The money is credited directly to the recipient’s card, bank account, or mobile wallet. They don’t need a Profee profile to receive funds. You can track the transfer status in the app, and we’ll notify you as soon as it reaches the recipient.

There is no universal best time to send money. You can monitor exchange rates using our rate history graph. The graph is available on this page – scroll up and click on the ‘i’ near the calculator – or on the calculator screen in the app.

95% of our transfers arrive within a few minutes. The exact delivery time depends on how you pay and how the recipient receives the money.

Instant transfers are available from cards (including Google Pay and Apple Pay) and Profee wallet to cards or mobile wallets. Bank account transfers usually take a few minutes.

In some cases, a transfer may take longer than usual. This can happen if the recipient’s bank needs more time to process the transfer or carry out additional security, compliance, or verification checks. Processing times may also vary depending on the destination country, local banking hours, weekends, and public holidays.
